1. Onion Juice

Our hair needs Keratin and protein which get depleted if we treat them with chemical treatments or style them with straighteners regularly. In this situation, onion juice can help you naturally as it stimulates Keratin and protein for your hair.

How to apply: Take an Onion, shred it into very small pieces and take out the juice. You can directly add the juice to your hair or mix it with hair oil and apply. It works wonders for hair growth.


2. Lemon Juice

This is one supply of Vitamin C for your hair. It helps in removing dandruff which is one of the major causes of hair fall. Mix the juice with hair oil and apply on roots. Keep it on for 30-45 mins and easy your hair. Bonus Tip: It works wonders if applied just after a hair wash to damp hair. How to apply: Mix lemon juice with water and apply it on damp hair. Keep it on for 10 mins and rinse it off. You will witness the glow and softness in your hair after a few applications.


3. Apple Cider Vinegar or White Vinegar

It is one of the best remedies to solve dandruff issues for hair growth along with that it also adds shine to your hair.

How to apply: If your scalp is oily, mix it up with water and apply on damp hair after a hair wash, followed by conditioner. It removes all residual build up from your hair making it hair softer, shinier and stronger against breakage due to dandruff.


4. Castor Oil

It is rich in Vitamin E and moisturizes your hair naturally.

How to apply: Mix it with your basic hair oil or can also be applied directly to your hair. Massage it, followed by a hair wash.


5. Vodka

Vodka for hair? I know it sounds absurd but we assure you it is absolutely good for your hair as it removes toxins or residue while cleansing the scalp nicely and helps in hair growth. If you have dry hair , add honey as well to the mixture. You can avoid honey if you have an oily scalp.

How to apply: Pour 10 ml vodka in shampoo and shake well to combine.Wash your hair as you normally would with this vodka-shampoo mixture.Let your hair air-dry.


6. Fermented Rice Water

It helps a lot for reducing damaged hair cells.

How to apply: Soak a little amount of rice in water for 30 mins. Leave the water in a jar for 1-2 days. When the container produces a sour smell, put it in the refrigerator. Mix the rice water with plain water. Apply it 30 minutes before you're going to wash your hair.


7. Aloe vera Gel

Aloe vera Gel has various good properties. It can cure many hair problems like, oily hair, hair fall, dandruff, itchy scalp, etc. You can mix aloe vera gel with yogurt, coconut oil, apple cider vinegar and vitamin E capsules as well.

How to apply: Cut a leaf from a live aloe vera plant. Using a spoon, collect the gel. Rub the gel or mixture directly into the scalp and let it sit for an hour. Use a mild shampoo to wash the hair and scalp. Repeat this process 2-3 times a week, as needed.


8. Amla

Indian's favorite home remedy! It is the source of Vitamin C that helps in strengthening your hair follicles from the root. You can also consume it as a part of your diet to see better results or apply it to your scalp too.

How to apply: You can use Amla and lemon juice together for hair growth. Mix 1 tablespoon of amla and lemon juice. Mix well and massage this solution in your hair for about 5 minutes. Leave it for 10 minutes and then wash your hair with a mild sulfate-free shampoo


9. Bamboo

Bamboo helps in strengthening your hair and giving a beautiful shine. Using products that contain bamboo extracts can make your hair much healthier.

How to apply: By blending bamboo powder into your conditioner, you're promoting strength, softness, and shine. You can even add a bamboo extract little to your hair oil to fortify your hair strands at the root.


10. Egg

Apply egg masks with aloe vera gel, lemon, honey. It helps in treating various hair problems and reduces hair falls magically.

How to apply: Mix 2 to 3 whole eggs with 2 to 3 drops of lemon juice, which helps to reduce the “egg” scent of the mask. Beat the mixture until it is frothy. Once applied cover the hair with a shower cap. Leave on for about 20 minutes. Rinse off the egg with cold or cool water. Follow it up with a shampoo and condition.
