Try these #pkmhrecommends products to give your hair some TLC and to ensure that your hairdo always looks (and lasts) its best.

1. Mousse

Product description: a frothy, light product.

Holding power: 6 out of 10.

Provides body, bounce, and volume to hair. Static is reduced.

Curly hair, fine hair, and limp hair that needs to be lifted are all good candidates.

Perfect for: shaping curls and adding body and movement.

Tips:

When blow-drying, a small amount will give the hair volume and a delicate grip.

Before applying mousse to your hair, work it into your palms.

If you don't use a blow dryer or use too much mousse, it might make your hair sticky and hard.

It has a softer, more natural appearance than gel.

2. Gel

A goop-like substance that is clear and heavy.

Holding power: ten out of ten.

Uses: It's wonderful for making hair texture sloppy, keeping spiky hair in place, and flicking out short hair.

Great for controlling fly-away hair and shaping short hair. Short curls will benefit from the addition of gel, but fine or flat hair will be weighed down.

Mohawks, curls, and slicked-back styles are all great choices.

Tips:

Using too much gel might ruin your appearance, while using too little will make it less effective.

All that is required is about a spoonful of the product. Mist your hair with a little water and scrunch it again to reactivate the gel.

Most gels are available in a variety of strengths to provide a stronger or weaker hold based on your hair type and desired style.

3. Smoothing Shine

The term "shine" refers to an oily liquid substance that is mostly utilized to provide lustre.

1 out of 10 for hold strength.

Can be used to impart gloss to any hair type. Static is reduced.

Excellent for: all hair types and styles, but notably for smoothing down frizzy hair.

Straight styles are ideal.

Tips:

Because too much product would leave an oily residue and make hair look unwashed, only a small amount is required.

Smoothing shine is a terrific finishing product, but it should only be used on your roots after the majority of the product has been applied to your ends to avoid an 'oily' look.

4. Hair Spray

It comes in a can and is sprayed straight onto the hair to give it grip.

Holding power: ten out of ten.

Uses: Can be used instead of gel spray and maintains a firm hold all day.

Curly hair, upstyles, sloppy hair, and flicked hair all benefit from this product.

Upstyles are ideal.

Tips:

Spray your hands with hairspray and then run them through your strands for a natural look that lasts.

5. Hair Texturizing Spray

A no-salt texture spray that gives you all the sexiness of beach hair without the dry, gritty, and crisp texture that surf sprays are known for. Salt that zaps moisture isn't present.

Creates texture for a soft and luscious wavy hair finish.

All hair types will benefit from this product.

It's ideal for beach hair.

Tips:

With a few spritzes here and there, your strands will have a dry texture.

Use a curling iron or a flat iron to give your waves more substance.

Using a Texturizing Spray on Your Hair

On hot and humid days, it's ideal for developing soft beach hair.

Tips:

Massage into dry hair after applying to hands.

To add volume, blow-dry it in with a flat brush.

8. Heat Protectant Spray

Product description: a frothy, light product.

Uses: Adding a kind of heat protection to your regimen, whether you have curly or straight hair, thick or fine hair, will prevent split ends, halt breakage, and smooth flyaways caused by a loss of moisture caused by regular heat styling with a blow dryer.

Preventing split ends and reducing breaking are two of the benefits of this product.

Perfect for: smoothing out flyaways caused by heat styling using a blow dryer.
