MAKEUP FOR A FESTIVE NIGHT OUT

Diwali Looks From Us To You

This is the time to amp up your beauty quotient. That's the way the Diwali celebration goes, huh? Festivities basically call for shimmer, twinkles & glitter for us & since Diwali is one of the main festivities celebrated across India & worldwide it’s wise to be picture perfect at all times, isn’t it?

So to get you into that very festive mood, with plenty of low-key styles as well as ‘loaded sparkles’ to please every fashion-loving person, we bring you some gorgeous makeup looks to try out.

If not the fireworks this time...get ready to be the sparkler yourself.

MUTED SHIMMER

Now is the moment for the shimmer to be taken out of that kit. A lot of girls are looking for an opportunity to get glowing shimmery eyes for this time of the year. And although we don't require a reason to wear gloss or shine, take this chance to turn up the makeup enhancing just one main feature on your face - be it the lips or eye. You can also pair a muted lip with a blended winged liner.

RUBY LIPS & VIBRANT EYES

Be bold and be bright with a classic red lip with soft smokey eyes or with just some mascara on the lashes. The entire look is sleek and modern, so make your choice between the two. It's great for a happy night out with friends or a party at home for Diwali celebration.

METALICS WITH GLITTER

Add a hint of shimmer with a gold or silver liner. Blend it into the shadow in the form of loose powder or a crease proof gloss on a smoked shadow.

Wear this with nude lips and an illuminated face. Sheer foundations work very well as a base for this look.

COPPER & MERLOT

Add a healthy flush with a highlighter. to your face. On the lips wear a muted rose hue and add some shimmer rose gold powder to the cupid’s bow. This will give your lip a natural pout while adding sheen. Pair it with copper smokey eye, this monotone look can be contrasted with an outfit in a different colour family to create a finished look.

The whole week ahead is planned for -long parties, sparkling diyas, sharing sweets, holding card parties& dressing up for the festive day with all things ethnic and colourful. The lamps, the cultural apparel, the jewels all contribute to the festival's glitter and sparkle.

Then why shouldn't you bling up your makeup as well?
